The original piece was made in 2020 ( This was during the beginning of the Covid -19 Pandemic ) Using Molotow Markers and Chinese Ink. The original drawing took 5 months to make and is apart of a series of 6 works themed and done around the same time.
Sekepe - At first glance I thought this looks like a caged cupcake..but my thoughts changed the more I added to it.
Sekepe is a seSotho word that translates in english to a Ship or Boat.
